Description

The soft hissing of the idli cooker signaled breakfast time at the VS household. We would run to the kitchen to see Rajam Paati deftly scooping idlis from their plates. Soon, the steaming idlis would occupy their place next to a dabba of molaga podi - Paati’s delicious blend of sesame seeds, daal, and other spices from our kitchen. We would make a mound of the podi, clear out the centre for gingelly oil, and mix the two carefully. Once this ritual was complete, we would proceed to dig in! The fluffy idlis and crunchy podi made for a heavenly combination. And if it was our lucky day, Paati would surprise us with crisp dosas to polish off the podi. We hope you enjoy this molaga podi as much as we did.

    Directions for use

    Take the desired amount of powder, mix with a few teaspoons of gingelly oil, coconut oil, or ghee, and serve as a side to idlis/dosas.

    Change in raw materials

    When I ordered through Blinkit/Swiggy, the quality was excellent. But now, when I ordered from the company website, the quality is totally different. Has there been any change in the procurement of raw materials, as the colour and spice level were different? The earlier one was a super product. That's what made me repeat the product.

    I order gun powder from vs mani but the product received this time was not like the product which I got last time...after eating one time I don't want to eat again.it is having some hard grains which was not properly grind disturb whole eating experience 😞
