Description

It’s 6 am on a balmy day. Fresh decoction goes drip-drip in Paati’s brass filter and the aroma of coffee wafts through our home. Paati gives VS Thatha his first frothy cup and prepares a tall flask for the entire household. Her coffee-chicory blend is perfect - strong and flavorful, with no bitter aftertaste. Our mornings are punctuated by frequent doses from this beloved coffee flask. 

Now, we bring you our homebrew in a ready-to-consume format. Simply mix with hot milk and sugar, and savour the rich flavours of the coffee we grew up relishing!

    Directions for use

    1. Mix 20-25 ml of decoction with 100 ml of hot milk. Use more decoction if you like your coffee extra strong.
    2. Add sugar to taste.
    3. Pour the coffee back and forth between two tumblers to froth it up.

    Brass Dawara Tumbler:
    The dawara tumblers have already been sanitized, but we suggest washing it before you use it
    The dull bronze shade is because we’ve not coated it with any added layer of chemicals
    While you’re washing it avoid using steel wool, use a soft cloth preferably
    Wipe dry after use to avoid staining the tumbler
